One of the oldest teams in the New York Penn League announced their 2010 schedule to the public. The Batavia Muckdogs will open their 2010 campaign on Friday June 18th when the Dogs head down Route 5 to Falcon Park to be entertained by their long time rival Auburn Doubledays. The following night, the same two teams will hook up for Batavia's home opener at 7:05 pm from historic Dwyer Stadium.After that game, the Single -A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals will play their next six games away from Batavia as they head off to Auburn, State College and Mahoning Valley.
The Muckdogs will also be hosting Hudson Valley, Oneonta, Jamestown, Lowell, Williamsport and Aberdeen during the season. The 'Dogs will be visiting Staten Island to take on the Yankees, Brooklyn, Vermont, Tri City plus stops in Jamestown against the Jammers and Williamsport to take on the Crosscutters.
